Welcome to the website for the Cavern Pub Phnom Penh
Do I need a visa to visit Cambodia?
If your country is not exempt (Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia) you will need a visa.
Where can I get a visa for Cambodia?
Most people get thier visa on arrival however there is an option to get one on-line, the option is called E-Visa and is avialble
for most countries except the following countries Afghanistan, Algeria, Arab Saudi, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan,
Sri Lanka, Sudan, Nigeria.
What types of Cambodian visas are there?
There are 2 types of visa available when you visit Cambodia. I
The first being a single entry tourist visa which costs $20 on arrival
the border crossings often run a scam where they only accept Thai Baht at an unacceptable rate of 40THB/USD. Stand you ground and they will back down but if it annoys you enough, take the details down and forward them the the Minsiter of Toursim in Cambodia. A tourist visa can be extended once for a total of 30+30 days.
The second visa available and a better option if you aren't sure how long you will be staying is a business visa which can also be obtained on arrival for $25. These can be extended for either 3 months (single entry), 6 months or 1 year (multiple entry)
Cambodia business visa extensions
1 month = $42
3 months = $72
6 months = $153
12 months = $283
Cambodians traveling on a foreign passport need a visa?
Yes you do but you can get a K-visa and it's free but expect to pay some tea money when you get it.
A passport size photo is required - otherwise, you will be charged $2.
Do I need a visa for my child?
Visas will be provided free of charge for children aged under 12 years old if traveling with their parents.
These prices are for the quick track way of getting an extension which geneerally take 3 days, if you have time the slow rates
are about 2/3rds of these rate but you'll be doing a lot of leg work to get it cheaply. Allow 6 weeks for you visa.
